Follow every hop to your homepage.
We open the insecure http:// version of your address — with and without www — in Google's lab, and trace each redirect until it lands.
How it works
Straight from the source.
Every result comes live from a recognised public source — named under your results, so you can check our work.

Private by design
No accounts, no cookies, no tracking. NuuMa doesn't store what you check. To run the tests, the address you enter goes directly from your browser to the public services named above. The only thing kept is a small daily counter in your own browser that keeps these tools free for everyone.
Questions, answered plainly
What's the difference between a 301 and a 302?
A 301 (or 308) says the move is permanent, so search engines transfer ranking to the new address. A 302 (or 307) says it's temporary, so they keep the old one in mind.
How many redirects is too many?
One hop, from http to https, is normal. Every extra hop is another round trip before the page can start loading, so aim for a single step to the final address.
Why check www and non-www?
Both versions get typed, linked and bookmarked. They should end on the same secure address, or search engines may split your ranking between them.
